Business interiors important….

A few weeks ago I went to a business workshop and was able to interact with
different individuals that were either already running their business or thinking of starting their own business.
They asked me what I was doing and I explained to them that I specialize in interiors for businesses.
One lady that was there ( a lawyer) explained to me that the last thing on her mind when she opens her office is the interiors. ‘I will just put some tables and chairs’ she said.
I was such a pitty that she thought like that because she did not understand the impact you interior can have on your own working surrounding and on your clientele.
Wherever I go, and whatever amount of money I will be spending in a particular establishment, I want to see the space being taken care off.
We need to move away from this ‘junk’ and quick start look. You need not much to have a appealing and decent interior.
It can be done on a low budget and with loads of creativity. Find yourself a designer that can work within your budget and create appealling designs.

These reception areas are the first face of your business, it visually communicates to your customer what they should expect from you.

When the place you work in is an inspiration to you, than your work will reflect .

Contemporary new office solutions:……….

Office buildings around the world is changing. This helps occupy ackward spaces and generates inovation and ecological sound designs.

All glass buildings will always remaining a source of great aestetics because it represents so many views and intrepretations of what such a building can do and its effects both from outside and inside.

Have some space left in your garden that you dont really use? Have a fully equiped office in it! This is defently flexible.

This is one of my favorite designs, not neccesarily because of the way they look but from what they are made from. Recycled freight containers! This mean they can be flexible both in design and location. Easy to transport and as cheap or as expensive you make them.

Special lightwork for your space……

There are so many components that makes an interior, and these components, the lamps and other sources of man-made light can be the final touch for completing the look.

These modern version chandeliers could fit perfectly into a very contemporary space design with very clean and straight lines. Not too much colours to distract from this piece of art. Too much colours combines with chandelier designs can make a space ‘clutter’.

Or you can use these modern chandeliers and combine them with an opulance design restraining yourself with the amount of colours.

You can get away with using this stunning lights in combination with clean, minimalistic designs where the chandelier would be the focus of the interior.

Traditional Office settings….

Yet, if you are a not so fussy about your working environment, and just prefer a clean tradional design for your office, there are still modern furnitures out there to create that look.

Though these designs are traditonal, they still exact a contemporary clutter free look.

When you don’t have a designated room at home for your office, an traditional look for your office can help blend into your house without your office corner screaming ‘ I am your office’.

Contemporary Designer Chairs that works well in offices…..

Many busineses have broken away from the traditional office settings.  Entrepreneurs arrange their working space according to how they ‘feel’ will contribute to theirs and their employees comfort and productivity.

There is no longer a rule on how everything is arrange, yet one thing does not change and that is how you want a visiting client to perceive your business. This vary according to the sector you are in.

Here some great ‘non traditional’ designs that can really transform your office.

These designs do not need to fit only in a designers or an artist working environment. Its about creating aestetics in your environment.

Modern Office Buildings

Every building deserve a good interior. But these buildings need exquisite interiors.
You can not be working in these astounding looking buildings and not invest in an equally inspiring interior. The whole combination of the exterior and interior is a hightly inspiring place to work.

This Kubus office looks very modern with its dual colours. The square windows remain in theme with the building.

A wonderfull more oval shaped office building. Covered mainly with glass and set in a
in a minimalistic garden design. Looks great! A ‘textured’ building with the use off different materials, metal, concrete and glass. The touch lies in the green stairway hall, the use of glass in that area brings that colour out, and the greyness off the metal and concrete. Wonderfull!A mix off different materials again. The balance of this works soo well. you have metals, glass, concrete and even nature on the building. Big windows  and a flexible open and close system at the windows that depending how its set makes the face of the buildings different every time.

Using Paintings and Sculptures in Interiors

In this post I want us to look at the use of Paintings and Sculptures in your interiors. These items can help make or break your design.
It is important when choosing one of these accesories to get the balance right. You look at the colour, to balance this out in your chosen theme, and also you have to look at the dimensions of these items.
If you use a dimensions that are too big for a small space, it will make your space look even smaller and out of place, the same is when you use a small item in a large space. The item will desapear.
Being that now-a-days we can mix and match different areas in design, if you do it right, you can get away with mixing victorian style paintings and sculptures in a very contemporay interior and mix very abstract imaging in eduardian and victorian interiors.
The rules and barriers that had been set proir on what can and can not has slowly ebt away.
